On the 24th of April 2017, Global Peace Mission Malaysia, Pahang participated in helping out with the MMR vaccination program for the Rohingya age 9 months to 17 years in Kuantan. The program was under UNHCR. Those that involved were mainly students from Rohingya Education Centre which is under Future Global Islamic Network (FGIN) and their family. The program took place at 2 venues; Balok and Permatang Badak. About 51 volunteers were involved. Volunteers were from many fields including doctors, staff nurses, from medical care assistants, medical students, and students from various faculties. In the program, the participants were screened for their health general health status. Vital signs taken include the blood pressure, pulse rate, and body temperature.
